i-Care ® is a school community
system aims to facilitate and enhance the interaction between the
four main stoke holders of the educational process namely:
students, parents, teachers and school’s administration.
The
system consists of eight main modules: Child absentee
notification, Messaging (voicemail and email), Homework and
assignments, Class / Exam schedule and Exam Results, Automated
bulletin board, Surveys and Notifications, Discussion forums, and
the documents library.
The
interaction with the system takes place over the web and/or the
phone.
The
telephony subsystem manages the interaction with the three types
of callers; the students, the parents and the teachers. It also
manages dial-out activities.
The
web subsystem enables the teachers, the parents and the students
to use the system modules. It also enables the school
administration to manage and update the system and get useful
statistics and reports.
The
system takes into consideration the variations of the schools’
programs among the Arab countries by providing a setup wizard that
enables the school to select its program from predefined ones or
define its own.
i-Care
® can be used as a stand alone application or be integrated easily
with many of the existing School Management Systems through its
backend connection |
