i Tell is a set of development tools and run-time environments that help you building robust CT  applications quickly and easily.

When you use i Tell you write your applications only once using a single set of simple to use, easy to learn, and consistent telephony components, regardless of the  hardware, API, or network protocol in your solution.

The i Tell architecture provides an abstraction layer that sits on top of telephony device APIs and performs low-level CT tasks, saving time that you can use to focus on building innovative applications.

You can access the many features of the i Tell architecture by using either of the two programming  environments included with i Tell; The i Tell Studio: which is a Drag and Drop GUI tool that provides a list of visual components to facilitate the development of the telephony call flow, and the IDX Telephony ActiveX: that enables you to enhance your preferred programming language with easy-to-use telephony capabilities. You can use IDX Easy Phone to develop, test, and  demonstrate your applications - even if there is no telephony board in your computer.

IDX Easy Phone uses a WAVE-compatible soundboard to play voice messages, a microphone for recording (if your application needs to record messages), and a keyboard or mouse to enter digits to simulate a touch-tone phone.
